Yes, it’s autumn now in my country (Although this year, autumn felt like 2 weeks and then winter hit…) This is a hauntingly beautiful fall photo by Flickr photographer Aaron Fuhrman!

Awesome midflight action shot by Flickr photographer rampx!! Could this have been taken from one of the famous Cat Cafe’s in Japan?? See, you can see the Japanese comic books lined up behind the kitty! What’s a ‘cat cafe’? It is a theme cafe whose main attraction is cats that can be watched and played with. Patrons pay an hourly cover fee (900 yen = $10.00/hr) to read comic books and play with the cats. There are more than 39 just in Tokyo alone!

This very creative long-exposure photo was taken using a homemade RGB LED torchlight  in a disused railway tunnel in Nottinghamshire in the UK by Flickr photographer Chris Thompson. This guy is a “light artist”, a photographer who shoots in the dark. He manipulates light by moving the light source and selectively illuminating parts of a scene while the shutter is open for extended periods of time, so that the image is built up in the camera sensor.

Peek a boo chicken! A funny shot of a hen through a knothole by Flickr photographer Darrell Wyatt. Here’s an interesting fact about chickens: Did you know chickens are able to understand that even when an object is taken away from them and hidden, they still comprehend that it exists. Not many animals have the ability to do this. Human children cannot even do this!

What a great use of colours in this backlit shot of a Japanese Maple (by Redroom Studios, taken in Niagara Falls, Canada)!  Did you know the first known Japanese maple to arrive in North America was in 1862, and was planted in Long Island, NY.

How important is your family? Sometimes, I forget how thankful I am for the family that I have. Thank you ~jessS~ for reminding me how lucky I am with just a simple photo silhouette shot.

Shrooms! The lighting of this photo was amazingly well done on this awesome shot by Aardvarklord! Some interesting facts about mushrooms: One serving of mushrooms contains more dietary fibre than celery or a slice of whole-wheat bread!  Mushrooms are one of the few natural sources of vitamin D. Mushrooms contain more protein than most vegetables. One medium brown mushroom contains more potassium than a banana. Mushrooms are a great source of B-vitamins (Thiamin, Ribofloxin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin and Folic Acid).

What an amazing action shot of a bald eagle hunting for a fish meal! Did you know that many eagles lay two eggs, but the older, larger chick frequently kills its younger sibling once it has hatched…

This is the amazingly beautiful fuchsia flower! What a colourful photo! Did you know that this flower was originally named after a German botanist Leonard Fuchs, whose name is pronounced ‘Fooks’. So we actually should be pronouncing fuchsia as ‘fooksia’, not “few-sha”.

So love this! Anyone know if this can be considered a fractal pattern? Or just a kaleidoscope pattern? Very cool photo-editing nonetheless by Michel Mastriani!
